Peculiar Puglia aka It's Not a Trullo - or Was It ?!

Two years ago Louis read a magazine featuring Trulli houses in the Valle d'Itria and decided that he wanted one.

That was the beginning of our adventure and we had absolutely no idea of how difficult it would prove to be, or the rollercoaster of hope and excitement, followed many times by despair and disappointment we had embarked upon.




3 Feb 10 Enel have connected cable. Depending on weather. excavation may or may not take place.

7-11 Feb 10 Visit to organise kitchen etc.

12 March 10 Second set of gates, larger than expected and security doors have been fitted.

19 March 10 Stufa has been installed, sink & worktops have been fitted, weather and draught proofing to external doors. Furniture to be delivered, waxed & assembled early next week. Kitchen to be finished and appliances to be delivered and fitted. Solar panel & tank to be lifted onto roof, internal doors to be fitted 25 March.
